| |
Corporate Finance covers all issues relating to the raising of capital. A company needs funds for its working capital in addition to business operations. Both public and private limited companies may raise funds with the issuance of new shares or rights issues ("share capital"). Alternatively, a company can also raise funds by direct borrowing from a commercial bank with mortgage of its property ("loan capital"). A public company may structure its loan capital in the form of debenture with provision of a floating charge or bonds and notes without security. |
